3 Site Managers - Emergency Services (m/f/x)

• You assume medical responsibility by ensuring the organization, operation, and day-to-day coordination of the facility under your supervision.
• You supervise and lead the medical teams, working closely with the head nurse, and contribute to ongoing medical oversight.
• You oversee the quality and safety of patient care, particularly by implementing procedures, improving medication management, and organizing morbidity and mortality reviews.
• You will optimize patient flows and care pathways by developing monitoring metrics and collaborating with partner departments.
• You will lead the site’s departmental initiative, including the operational charter, strategic directions, and internal organization.
• You will contribute to team training and development, as well as to the onboarding and support of new professionals.
• You participate in the institution’s overall initiatives, particularly those related to continuous improvement, innovation, and cross-functional projects involving the network or infrastructure.
• You serve as the department head’s liaison to the site’s medical team.
• You are the point of contact for the Medical Directorate regarding all cross-functional issues that need to be addressed.

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in medicine obtained in Belgium or recognized as equivalent by the competent authorities.
• You are a specialist in emergency medicine.
• You hold INAMI accreditation as a specialist in any discipline recognized as a specialty by that institute.
• You are registered with the Order of Physicians.
• You hold the HEC management certificate or commit to completing the program within 2 years.
• You are the first or last author/co-author of at least one publication in a peer-reviewed journal (Applicable only to internal staff)
• You possess the following skills:
• Good knowledge of healthcare legislation,
• Proven managerial skills, including the coordination of medical and paramedical teams
• Expertise in the organization and operation of an emergency department, as well as patient flow management,
• Strong skills in quality and safety of care (procedures, morbidity and mortality, risk management),
• Ability to work closely with multiple internal and external partners and to ensure clear communication with teams, as well as with your department head and hospital administration,
• Ability to contribute to training, supporting teams, and developing strategic departmental projects
