Mission
The CHC Waremme Clinic is a community hospital offering services in surgery, internal medicine, geriatrics, rehabilitation, intensive care, and emergency care (SMUR). Within the CHC Health Group, the clinic serves as a referral center for psychiatry. It is currently implementing a reorganization plan that includes several major changes in line with the group’s strategic plan. The clinic employs more than 300 people.
What does the job entail?
As Director of the clinic’s Nursing Department, you
• oversee nursing care, develop the care plan to ensure the quality of patient care and improve the efficiency of the nursing department
• manage human resources (over 300 employees) to optimize the operation of nursing care
• Establish, advocate for, and adhere to the nursing department’s staffing and equipment budget
• Maintain accreditation by complying with institutional, organizational, and functional standards
• Represent the nursing department internally and externally in the context of institutional projects
• Supervise the team of unit head nurses at the CHC Waremme clinic
• Collaborate with the Nursing Department Management, Site Management, Medical Management, and chief physicians
• Coordinate the data entry and analysis of the DI-RHM for all hospital sites within the CHC Health Group
• represent the Nursing Department in the design and development of the nursing component of the MOVE network’s new electronic health record (Impact project)
