Job description:
Vivalia is seeking several gastroenterologists for its Libramont facility.
Scope of Practice:
Within general hospitals (internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics, and emergency care) with 300 to 400 beds that are part of the Vivalia hospital network, our hospitals cover all medical specialties (except cardiac surgery and care for extremely premature infants)
As part of a multidisciplinary team
Gastroenterology is affiliated with the Department of Internal Medicine but operates as a separate unit.
The main practice takes place at the Clinique Saint Joseph Vivalia in Arlon.
General and, where possible, advanced consultations in gastroenterology, hepatology, biliary-pancreatic medicine, proctology, and inflammatory, functional, and nutritional disorders.
The candidate must treat the following conditions:
Hepatogastroenterology, biliopancreatology, proctology, and the management of common inflammatory, functional, and nutritional disorders.
Gastrointestinal endoscopy and standard and emergency proctology
Endoscopy on-call shifts
Advanced therapeutic endoscopy (echoendoscopy, ERCP, stents, etc.), as well as subspecialties in hepatogastroenterology, proctology, therapeutic endoscopy, and ultrasound would be an asset.
