Mission

• In outpatient clinics and care units, you will perform dynamic tests and various standard (needle) and specialized blood draws in accordance with the prescription and in consideration of the patient’s medical condition and established procedures (including blood cultures).
• More specifically, you will be responsible for:
• standard and specialized blood draws (PICC line, Pack, etc.);
• collection of other biological samples;
• performing therapeutic bloodletting under clinical supervision;
• performing dynamic tests with or without IV injection and providing clinical monitoring;
• preparing for cytapheresis procedures

Desired Qualifications

You hold a Belgian nursing diploma or bachelor’s degree in nursing, or a degree recognized as equivalent (+ visa).
• Experience in the field of specimen collection is preferred.
• You enjoy working as part of a team, are a good listener and communicator, and demonstrate empathy. You are organized and flexible.

What We Offer

A part-time, permanent position (19 hours/week) to begin as soon as possible, primarily at the Sart Tilman site, but also including the Brull and Ougrée sites (Lucien Brull Polyclinic and Ougrée University Polyclinics).
• Depending on departmental needs, recruited staff may be required to work at other sites of the Liège University Hospital.
• We are also establishing a recruitment pool.
• Salary (for a full-time equivalent, i.e., 38 hours/week) starting at
• 3,447.47 euros gross per month (IFIC14 – Bachelor’s degree/Registered Nurse)
• 3,187.43 euros gross per month (IFIC14B – Nursing Certificate)
• + bonus for professional experience (personalized information available upon request from the recruitment department).
In exceptional cases, the successful candidate may retain their university hospital (CHU) rank if, and only if, the position being filled is identical to their current position.
