Nurse, Abdominal Surgery Department, CHC Montlégia Clinic (m/f/x)

The Abdominal Surgery Department specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis, and surgical treatment of diseases of the digestive tract and intra-abdominal organs, conditions affecting the abdominal wall, glands (endocrine, breast), and soft tissues.

Under the supervision of the head nurse, your responsibilities include:

• Provide comprehensive care to patients to maintain, improve, or restore their health and well-being and promote their independence
• Observe, identify, and assess the health status of the patients assigned to you and prioritize the necessary care
• Contribute to the continuity and quality of care
• Provide medical information and support to the patients under your care
• Perform patient-related administrative tasks

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in general nursing or a certified nursing diploma
• You have initial experience in a hospital setting and in a surgical unit
• You are proficient in various specific nursing techniques
• Specialization in wound care and/or stoma care is a real asset
• You are organized, highly adaptable, and a team player
• You are committed to effective collaboration with the staff of the care units
• You enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team
• You have excellent interpersonal skills
