Mission

• You provide support, information, a listening ear, and education to patients (and their families) regarding their health issues.
• You carry out prescribed medical orders and provide high-quality nursing care, monitoring patients’ symptoms and physical and psychological reactions.
• You collaborate in establishing diagnoses and medical treatments, as well as in evaluating them, and assist the physician in performing technical procedures for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes.
• You ensure and contribute to the continuity of care (using tools such as nursing records, nursing consultations, the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), department-specific follow-up records/software, and communication logs) and ensure the flow of information within—and, if necessary, outside of—the care unit/sector/department.
• You are actively involved in the activities of your department and the institution, and you participate in medical and nursing research. You actively contribute to the continuous quality improvement process implemented within the sector.

Desired Qualifications

• You hold a Belgian diploma or an equivalent certification in nursing (Brevet or Bachelor’s degree) (+ visa).
• Ideally, you have experience working in a hospital setting.
• You are comfortable working with computer software.
• You enjoy working as part of a team, are a good listener, demonstrate empathy, and possess strong organizational and communication skills.

What We Offer

• A full-time (38 hours/week) or part-time permanent position, to begin as soon as possible, primarily at the Notre-Dame des Bruyères site.
• Salary starting at:
• €3,124.92 gross monthly for full-time (IFIC14B pay scale – hospital nursing certificate)
• €3,379.86 gross monthly for full-time work (IFIC14 – associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing)
• + monthly premium for irregular shifts (A-B-N breaks—including weekends and holidays)
• + pay adjustment based on professional experience (personalized information available upon request from the recruitment department). On an exceptional basis, the successful candidate may retain their university hospital (CHU) rank if and only if the position being filled is identical to their current position.
• 30 days of paid vacation, 10 public holidays, and 4 days of additional leave beyond legal requirements, with additional vacation days based on age; meal vouchers worth €4.50; reduced rates at company restaurants; exemption from copayments for consultations and medical procedures; hospitalization insurance (only if covered by a DI policy); an 80% employer contribution toward TEC/SNCB transit passes; commercial benefits.
