Mission

• You provide a warm welcome and ensure the comfort of patients and their families.
• You ensure and contribute to the continuity of care and facilitate the flow of information within—and, if necessary, outside of—the care unit/sector/department.
• You assist the physician in performing technical procedures for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. You organize and coordinate prescribed tests and other interventions.
• You provide support, information, a listening ear, and education to patients regarding their health issues.
• You are involved in the activities of your department and the institution, and you participate in medical and nursing research. You actively contribute to the continuous quality improvement process implemented within the department.

Desired Qualifications

• You hold a Belgian bachelor’s degree in nursing or an equivalent degree (+certification), as well as a specialization in intensive care and emergency medical care (+certification).
• Ideally, you have experience working in a hospital setting.
• You are eager to work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team; you possess strong listening and communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and people skills. You are able to analyze information critically, demonstrate sound judgment and objectivity, and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations.

What We Offer

• A full-time or part-time permanent position, to begin as soon as possible, primarily at the Notre-Dame des Bruyères site.
• Compensation starting at €3,692.65 gross per month for full-time (38 hours/week) (IFIC15) + monthly premium for irregular hours (A-B-N shifts—including weekends and holidays). + bonus for professional experience (customized information available upon request from the recruitment department).
As an exception, the successful candidate may retain their university hospital (CHU) rank if and only if the position described in the job posting is identical to their current position.
• 30 days of paid vacation, 10 public holidays, and 4 additional days off beyond statutory requirements, with additional vacation days based on age; €4.50 meal vouchers; reduced rates at company restaurants; exemption from copayments for consultations and medical procedures; hospitalization insurance (only if on a DI contract); employer contribution of 80% toward TEC/SNCB transit passes; commercial benefits.
