Anesthesiologist and Pain Specialist (m/f)

Background:
We are seeking an anesthesiologist specializing in pain management to join our Multidisciplinary Center for the Treatment of Chronic Pain (CMTDC) to provide pain management consultations and treatments. 

Main Responsibilities:
Conduct specialized pain management consultations for patients with chronic and subacute pain at the CMTDC. These consultations may expand to all locations.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings at the CMTDC (Libramont)
Perform technical pain management procedures under fluoroscopy and ultrasound guidance (spinal techniques, peripheral nerve blocks, etc., including radiofrequency techniques), monitor the infusion of analgesics (such as ketamine), administer Qutenza patches, etc.
Provide consultations for hospitalized patients, in collaboration with the EAMs at each hospital site 
Be actively involved in the Spine Unit(s)
Collaborate with the physical medicine department to manage certain conditions such as algodystrophy, low back pain, etc.
Opportunities to develop:
Neuromodulation techniques with the neurosurgery department (particularly for FBPS).
Pain management treatments using intrathecal KT (in collaboration with the Anesthesiology Department).
A perineal clinic, in collaboration with the Urology and Gynecology Departments.
A collaboration with the Pediatrics Department for consultations with children and adolescents experiencing chronic pain.

Anesthesiology certificate:
Hold a DIU in pain management, or be currently enrolled in the program:
Have completed radiation safety training, or be currently enrolled in the program:
Have completed training in pain management techniques, or be currently enrolled in the program:
