Neurologist

• Outpatient consultations (St. Luc Bouge, on-site or at branch locations).
• Performing technical procedures (Doppler ultrasound of neck vessels and/or EMG).
• Assisting with the review and interpretation of neurophysiological tests.
• Participating in ward supervision.
• Participation in the supervision of the emergency department and neurology consultations during the day (9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.).
• Participation in the supervision and training of the neurology MACCS program.
• Participation in on-call duties.

• Must hold the title of specialist in neurology and be licensed to practice medicine in
Belgium.
• Accreditation or a desire to become and remain accredited is a plus.
• An interest in neuroinflammation and/or electromyography is a plus.
• One of the department’s strengths lies in the complementary skills and good rapport with
the team, which already consists of 6 neurologists.

• The Clinique St-Luc de Bouge is a general hospital offering virtually all
medical specialties except pediatrics, obstetrics, and neurosurgery.
• The Neurology Department has 18 beds, including 4 beds in the stroke unit.
• Work schedule: full-time (8/10) or part-time (minimum 6/10).
