Job description
Vivalia is seeking several neurologists for its hospital sites in Arlon, Libramont, and Marche

Responsibilities:

Within general hospitals (internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics, and emergency care) with 200 to 300 beds that are part of the Vivalia hospital network, our hospitals cover all medical disciplines (except cardiac surgery and care for extremely premature infants)
As part of a multidisciplinary team
Within a neurology department currently undergoing restructuring
A general neurology, neurovascular, and epilepsy department.
The Vivalia network includes a neurosurgery department and an interventional radiology department (embolization of aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations, thrombectomies).
Ability to perform EEGs, EMGs, and evoked potentials
Close collaboration with the intensive care unit (separate unit)
At the Arlon site, on-call support via teleconsultation with a university center.
Intra-hospital collaboration with our general and psychiatric hospitals
Consultation services provided both within the hospital and at outpatient clinics.

Requirements:

Doctor of Medicine degree and valid license to practice medicine
Certification as a neurologist in Belgium
Excellent oral and written communication skills in French
Availability for multidisciplinary discussions
Gradual participation in on-call duties
