Mission

• You will handle the administrative and logistical management of student education and training: organizing classes, internships, equipment, schedules, course materials, databases, and timelines.
• You will help lead hands-on training sessions in resuscitation and first aid for various groups.
• You ensure compliance with laws and regulations: legislation regarding specialized training, internal university hospital regulations, and the legal framework for nursing.
• You engage in the department’s activities and projects by keeping your skills up to date and participating in meetings and working groups.
• You collaborate with the Anesthesia and Intensive Care Department teams, academic staff, and all internal and external stakeholders involved in training activities.

Desired Qualifications

• You hold a Belgian bachelor’s degree in nursing or an equivalent degree (+visa)
• Specialization in intensive care and emergency medical care (SIAMU), as well as ERC provider/instructor certifications (BLS AED, ILS, ALS), are a plus.
• Experience in an emergency department, either in a hospital or in an out-of-hospital setting (ambulance, PIT, SMUR), is preferred
• You are proficient with computer tools and comfortable using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Ideally, you are proficient in technical English for reading specialized documents.

What We Offer

• A permanent part-time position (19 hours/week) to begin as soon as possible, primarily at the Sart-Tilman site.
• A salary starting at 3,379.86 euros (IFIC14) gross per month for full-time work, plus a bonus for professional experience (customized information available upon request from the recruitment department). As an exception, the successful candidate may retain their university hospital (CHU) rank if, and only if, the position described in the job posting is identical to their current position.
• 30 days of paid vacation, 10 public holidays, and 4 additional days off beyond statutory requirements, plus additional vacation days based on age; €4.50 meal vouchers; reduced rates at company restaurants; exemption from copayments for consultations and medical procedures; hospitalization insurance (only if covered by a DI policy); an 80% employer contribution toward TEC/SNCB transit passes; commercial benefits.
